The Lenten Season
Welcome to the Lenten season! This is the time of year when Christianity is focused on preparing for the Easter weekend. It can be a time of renewal and/or enlightenment in Spiritual Understanding. In Unity we know that this awakening can happen at anytime but honor whenever it happens in a person’s Life. God is available at all times. And is willing, able, and wanting to give you the Kingdom. As Jesus taught in his day, the only thing that prevents a person from entering the Kingdom of Heaven is an Understanding of the Truth of who he/she is. That Truth is Being a child of the most High, God.

Effect of New Birth--Begetting and quickening take place in man's inner consciousness, but the process of being "born anew" (John 3:3) includes the whole man, spirit, soul, and body. To be born again is to be made "a new creature" (II Cor. 5:17) having "this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 2:5) and a body like unto His glorious body.
